A simple sanitizer spray, like those sold in most petrol station mini-marts, works fine IMO. It will kill airborne bacteria, and help freshen the air a bit.
But if the smell is a really pungent, mold-like odor (sharp like spoiled milk), then you're probably better off finding the source of the smell and treating it directly.
Here's hoping it's the former.
Re: Steering "looseness".
Sadly, many cars with wide, low profile tires tend to "tramline" under braking.
AFAIK, there really isn't much you can do about it- other than running a sensible tire width. ( IMO, 205 to 215 is the widest tire a DC Integra should run on the street.) I can get into the mechanics of why this trait occurs, but that's for another thread.
