It would not make enough difference for you to notice if you had a reflective material on your CAI. Now, if you could figure out a way to refrigerate the incoming air and keep it that way going into the engine, then you'd have a decent hp gain.

IMO, the air spends so little time in the intake anyway, that the temp. of the incoming air is more critical.
