If you want to live in a society where the Government tries to control a vast majority of everyday living to prevent people from having to deal with the low lows (and consequently the high highs) then socialist society's are for you.

If you want to live in a country that lets you work for what you want, and experience extremely low lows and extremely high highs, depending on how hard you work and how responsible you are with your freedom; then move to America.

It's all in what you want, and what you're willing to do for it.
