I have been doing some reading and the jdm 92-95 h22a looks to be a very good motor. I could rebuild it up to have the same stats as a type S I think from what I have read. The h23a vtec sounds very cool, but I cant find any aftermarket parts for it at all.
H23A would have the same aftermarket parts as the H22A....all it is is a longer stroke or bore. the heads are the same I beleive, along with pretty much everything else.
