When I had my 97 Prelude, the limiter came in about 8200 (from memory), or just a little after the redline.
The engine code B18C is a home market DC2 ITR motor.

If you're using the ECU that would normally be used with that motor, the redline isn't 'til 8650. The tachs that came w/those cars were optimistic, deliberately, and by the gauge it's possible it'll look like the lmiter's cutting in at 9000.
