Many of the "spoon" and "mugen" chips out there disable many of your sensors and engine safeguards in order to squeeze out every last bit of power and prevent a car from losing power on the track, even if it has severe damage.
What people sometimes forget is that these engines are rebuilt after EVERY race! They don't give a flying rats ass about the condition of the engine as long as it puts them on the podium at the end of the day.
remember that dude back in like december talking about a buddy of his buying a spoon crate. its like the most maintenance intensive engine you could purchase, he ****ed it in like a month or less.
