The type-r head is NOT a port/polish B18C head. its port/polish B16A head. The B16A head was found to flow better than the B18 head, so they used that when specing out the type-r motor
Power is also in the gearing. If your going track and N/A the type-r tranny is the way to go.
Buying a type-r swap and then ripping it apart and boring/building it up is like purchasing the factory alloy wheels and spoiler for your car when you know your just going to take them off and go aftermarket. why pay for the same stuff twice?
