Afraid? bahhahaha...what do I need the chip for? It isnt going to help much in my case. Label or not, I dont trust that one chip of of "eBay"
As for the exact same thing....I really doubt it. My friend use to run a Spoon ECU in his EF hatch with a B16. The motor was tuned and ready for the track. The real Spoon ECU adjusts fuel curves, ignition, timing, and VTEC engagement. All in conjunction with the appropriate induction, header and exhaust.
Your little 20 dollar chip raises your rev limiter...big deal. It will probably cause more damage than help you. Honda put a rev limiter for a reason.
