Thanks for the input -- I'll check the brake linings for excess play. My only confusion is that the drum brakes make the same sound as the disc in front. I use the parking brake often (not just for parking, but sometimes for a quick 180 if you know what I mean). Could the auto-adjusters for the drums be shot? Perhaps the problem up front sounds similar to the rear, but is different in the source. Thanks again...
