seems like the clutch or field coil is going bad if the compressor isnt spinning but the belt is...that or the compressor is seizing up inside and can cause costly repairs like replacing the compressor, condensor and hoses

edit: is there any signs of oil leaking from the compressor? lets hope its not and its just the clutch/field coil thats going bad
