i read an article saying that 125amps fuse is recommended size for 4 guage wire, and since i will be running 4 guage wire upfront, isn't 80amps to small? I told the guy at the stereo shop that i wanted 125amp fuse, then he said, he would increase that to 150amps upfront and leave no fuse from the Dblock to amplifiers :dunno: . im confused.
Maybe it said 125A is the biggest you should have on 4 gauge. you should add up all the fuses and that is what size fuse you need. then look and see what size wire can handle that amount of current safely. but anl is more expensive than c/b's and agu is cheaper than c/bs
