I have an 87 Integra with the DOHC 1.6L which has been sitting in my garage for about a year (since the timing belt broke.) I bought a new timing belt for it and have it installed but it doesn't run right. I have the service manual and I'm pretty sure I've done everything correctly.

Do I most likely have bent valves? I called the local dealership and talked to one of the mechanics and he said it's unlikely that any valves bent when it broke, but I don't know if I buy that.

Anyone gone through this?
