I had this same problem with my GSR. There is a kill switch that is activated when the battery is unhooked. If the alarm isn't going off, I don't think it has anything to do with it. I just cut the alarm and there is a switch by your left foot on the panel with the hood release. Fiddle with that and it should start. That is assuming it is the kill switch. If not, that could be something that was mentioned above.
