I ran 18-21 PSI (boost spiking) for a year on a stock motor with NO fuel management outside of a Walbro 255lph fuel pump, had stock injectors but a bigger turbo. Never had a problem with EVER running lean. I was running about 13% rich at all times, but could hit fuel cut if I didn't let the car warm up first. EGT's never broke 850°c either. I was really surprised at how well the stock ECU compensated for all the extra airflow.

His turbo is going to blow up long before his engine will. You may only be able to laugh at him for a day or two. What turbo is he using? Please tell me it's not a T-25.

I have a 2g Extreme UICP and a 1g BOV that holds 18 PSI in my shed with couplers and a bigger throttle body elbow if he's interested. I'm letting it go cheap to a local. I sold my matching lower IC pipe and J-pipe already.

On a side note to this thread... I did finally get the fuel map in the right neighborhood... at least... a safe neighborhood. I'm still running as rich as my car did before, so I still need to tune it, but at least now I can drive it again.
