anything i can do for the other side to "un-fuse" the bushing and the bolt? something that might help brake the guys loose before i try to get that bolt out.

Go buy a propane torch. Soak the other bolt with PB Blaster... not WD-40, not Marvel Mystery oil, USE PB Blaster. Clean the threads of the bolt that protrude from the nut with a small wire brush, and repeat that process with PB. Soak the whole bolt, everywhere you can, and the bushing where the bolt goes through it. Do this again every hour for 3 or 4 hours, then let it sit overnight. Get that torch you bought and heat the nut up red-hot before breaking the bolt loose, and you won't have any problems with it.
