accords are more "luxurious" than the civic, i love my 6th gen, the 7th gens don't look as nice (maybe because they need time to "grow" on me, but they're not terrible) --> my mom has an 04 EX with *all* the bells and whistles, and my only gripe about the 7th gens is their radio controls (with the NAV system), the tuner is WAY too sensitive, you can't turn the knob "one" click unless you're completely stopped--> otherwise, esp. if you go over a bump, the dial turns about 400,000 clicks and you go way past the station you wanted, that frustrated me a lot, and still does. IMO, the Accord has more bling than the civic, and is overall, a much better car-- more room, faster (although this depends), more luxurious-in both ride and in interior asthetics.
