Hey guys,

I'm running on 17s with 2054017 rubber on my 98 RS. I had a problem with my tires rubbing against the fender liner, it eventually wore out and theres a pretty sharp piece of metal sticking out now. That metal cut a nice groove in my tires so I'm thinking that I cut my bumpstops too short. I really want to avoid this happening again so I got new bumpstops, I'm planning on just using the completely stock bumpstops. My question is, how much can I lower on uncut bumpstops? If they're too long, how short should I cut them if I'm running on 17s? I'm using tokiko blue struts.
