Default Frankenstein Motor Testimonals

First off out there i dont intend to put down, trash talk, or bad mouth any lude drivers or anyone rolling in a lude-powered car, but frankly i am tired of seeing h22 turbo motors. Yeah i know they can be great motors but you read this whole thread and if by the end of it you still want one you should kick yourself in he ass.the potential of a h23 Frankenstein stroker motor is unbelievable if and i will say this again IF DONE THE RIGHT WAY WHICH SHOULD BE THE ONLY WAY OTHERWISE IT IS DISGRACE TO EVERYONE!

I bought 93 lude Si two years ago. i did not want to be part of the crowd, thats why most of us lude drivers drive preludes in the first place. we take pride in the rarity of our cars. I begin doing research and after 3 months i was totally convinced that i could built the baddest prelude motor ever. i bought a h22 out of a wrecked 98 prelude SH and began my build. the reason i bought the entire motor is b/c you will need certain pulleys and other stuff from the h22a block. I did not try myself to do this b/c complexity of the build. if i would had this link though i might have b/c it completely ligit and recommended if you are planning this swap. www.mad-psi.com/index2.html
in my town there is a huge import scence and at given time a dozen or so civics,tegs,crxs,etc.. that roll in the 12s and countless ones damn close. Unless they were built by the owner of the car,one man did the work,Randy Beals of Preumium Automotive Paducah, KY 270-441-7006.
i went to him and togther we built the first and only one h23 frankenstein in my area. after 3 months of vtec problems, check engine lights, bugs i got it just perfect. The 1st race i had with was a spoiled rich kid in a s2000. after about 60 ft i was gone and all he seen was carbon fiber altezzas and my bright ass shift light. the next week i took it too beach bend drag strip and ran out 13.4 quarter mile on street tires. the final cost of my swap about $6000 but i sold my left over parts for almost $2000 when it was all said and done. motor specs
i rebuilt my h23 motor, put a laser cut custom spec crank in it, and balanced and blueprinted the block. i ran a external 7/8'' oil line directly to the head which i ported, polished, and gasket matched to intake and jdm 4-2-1 heat-wrapped header. Exhaust was 2 1/2'' with no cat and dynomax single chamber muffler/tip. The fuel sytem was setup with skunk2 chipped ecu feeding accel 395cc injectors adjustable by a B&M fuel pressure regulator.
i used AEM V2 cold air with a helix throttle body spacer and bbk oversized throttle body. the timing was slighty advanced and used NGK plugs and wires.
the tranny really was not 100% so i rebuilt it with heavy-duty sychros, ACT extreme stage 2 clutch & pressure plate with a fidanza 8lb flywheel and DC short shifter. then just two weeks ago i was ran off the road and car was totalled by insurance b/c the cost to fix it was almost the valve of the car to them.
u say though well thats not the baddest motor ever though right, well i was not finished. my future plans were to:
bore and sleeve h23 block to 2.6 liters (YEAH)
install Larry Endyn 11:5 compression pistons and his rods
Endyn custom ground cams and valvetrain and carbon fiber intake manifold
Kamakaize 4 to 1 oversized header
200 shot of the juice
cam gears of some type
Endyn gave me a spec sheet claiming when dynotuned it would be in excess of 475hp to the wheel not including the juice.
his website is www.theoldone.com
check out his website and you will find out he is the real deal.
well sorry this thread is so long but i wanted to show everyone how serious i am and how passionate i am about this. ok maybe you still want your turboed lude and thats ok but i bet you while your spooling i am eating up my gobs of torque and rolling to 10,000 rpms in vtec, naturally aspirated with help of Endyn customs. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT! THANKS FOR UR PATEINCE
