dont feel bad i sucked it up at my autox today too.....guess my car just didnt like the course.
Your research didn't pull up the people who use these for a purpose though.

In the dry my car is setup pretty well. I've tried so many alignments on my car to get it right. I write down surface temps, air temps, humidity, my pressures on each run, my shock settings on each run, etc...
