I had the exact same problem with mine and it turned out to be a bad bulb. They said out of the the 200 plus kits they sold they had three bad bulbs but glady replaced it

switch the bulbs to see if the same thing happens on the other side. If the same bulb doesn't work on either side it's probably the bulb. Thats what happened to me, one would ignite for about 20 seconds, then just shut off. I tried it on both ballasts and it did the same thing, ended up being a faulty bulb
