I just figured that this way, I'd be making more power throughout more of my rev range. I also hoped that the increased performance would make the 4,000rpm turbo spool lag less irritating. (I know about aggressive cam idle loping - I did some work with a friend on his B18b1. It had aggressive cams. Anyway.)
