I have 105k on mine, and it consumes the same amount now as it did at 25k. In fact, you will only burn oil when you hit VTEC hard. I paid close attention through three oil change cycles for this specific purpose...... on the first cycle, I didn't hit VTEC once, and every time I checked the oil when I gas up (that's when I check it always), it was always very close to where I filled it. On the second change, I hit VTEC hard alot, and had to use almost a quart and a half throughout the cycle. And on the third change, I didn't hit VTEC at all, and again, not a drop was burned.
Believe me, if there was a problem with any vital part of the engine, you could not control how and when the oil burns.
