You could be right, i haven't done much research on vtec/altering it because honda did a very good job out of the box tuning vtec crossover etc so i didn't feel like i wanted to screw with it for my application. Also 20" slicks are VERY small, they look like a very bald street tire with a very high tire profile maybe like a 205/65/13. Hardly anyone at the track noticed i was on slicks but they were all like when they saw me rip a WRX out of the hole that was running consistent 2.0's on street tires.
