Thank you everyone who has responded to my post.
I never thought about disabling my airbag. I was seeking suggestions for ways to position my seat comfortably and still reach the pedals, while staying 10 inches from the steering wheel.
I am currently investigating where to purchase pedal extensions and if they are available in Canada.
