so you're saying the responsibility for education fall solely on the government? i find that extremely short sighted. what happened to the parent's responsibilities? as a parent i know that it is my responsibility first and foremost to provide everything for my child and to give him the education he deserves even if that means doing stuff other that walking my son to the bus every morning. personal responsibility as a parent means a lot more than budget cuts for education.

did you ever stop to think that in paying my taxes the government has promised me a return for my money? They promised me social services programs, to conserve resources within my country, to provide police protection and military protection, to provide my child with a school and books to attend...many other things make the list of what I pay my tax money to go to and here you are mister all american telling me I am wrong???
