heres my question...why would you wanna put Civic type-r internals in an integra type-r engine...isnt that defeating the purpose of building up an engine...ctr =1.6L....itr = 1.8L...using ctr rods..on an itr crank would also be kind odd..seeing how the stroke is less on an itr..and the Ctr has less compression...the power your gonna lose is much more than you will gain...the best build up i would suggest...woud be this:
b16a2 engine
b20z engine (just for the block and internals)
have the b16a2 head ported and polished
get forged pistons and rods for the b20z block
whatever cam gears, pullies etc you would wanna use...and you will have more power..and gobs more torque than you ever would with a "built" itr engine with ctr internals...you not only will have a fast motor but it will rev just as high and hard if not harder than the "built" itr...and it will be much easier to install and parts are much easier to find as well as much cheaper. an engine that was just described will cost you the same as a STOCK ITR engine...
