The only way I could see such a system working would be to custom fabricate a T-Top structure like the Mk2 MR2 Turbo, with custom fabricated gaskets, roof panels, seals, latches, headliners etc....[talk about $$$ :eek3:]
And along with all that, you'd have to deal with the tops of the door frames. You'd have to keep the A-pillars aligned perfectly while grafting in a whole new roof structure.
Iin essence you'd be totally re-engineering the way in which the loads and stresses are distrbuted throughout the car.. and for little increase in the amount of openness over a stock sunroof. :eh:
I really wouldn't bother.
The end result would probably be a FWD, 2900lb flexy-flyer of an Integra....dare I say it.... an equivalent to the infamously crap Mercury Capri XR2 convertible.
