I was in an accident a few years ago but we werent racing or drinking and driving or even speeding. My friend Sabrina worked at a saturn dealership and had a 98 Trans Am that she was planning on trading in for 2000 Firehawk that was at her work. It was kinda crappy weather, it was really slick and snowy but she decided to go for a test drive anyway. It was Sabrina driving, salesman in the front passenger, i was in the rear behing the driver seat and my friend Dan was behind the salesman. We were getting on highway 94 and we slid out sideways and got T-boned on the driver side by a Dodge Ram i dont remember anything after leaving the dealership but that is what i was told. I woke up in the hospital and my friend Dan was dead. I was the only one wearing my seatbelt and everyone else was thrown from the vehicle, both people in the front went thru the windshield and Dan went thru the t-tops. I had to be removed with the jaws of life because the car was so smashed up. The only injuries i had was a cut in my head and some shoulder damage. After that i try to wear my seatbelt everytime i get in a vehicle even if it is uncomfortable. So even if you arent driving bad accidents can happen so it always pays to wear you seatbelt.
