OHHH GREAT TOPIC! I'm just looking right now at getting my timing belt done (92k) - i called the dealer .. for a T-belt, new drive belts, and a water pump the want $780!!! - I called around and I found a place that will do it all for 220 labor .. then whatever the cost of parts (its marked as a 3 hour job). . anyway so somewhere inbetween there should be decent.
I also have a leak coming from the clutch pedal .. my clutch fluid is dark brown and i think it means my seals are shot .. i have a helms manual - How easy is it to put a new master cylinder in? Also - if my clutch master cylinder has a leak .. would that make my clutch pedal feel really loose? or is my clutch actually going out? It never slips out of gear but the pedal is really easy to push in/out and it can come out almost all the way before it starts to transfer power.
