simply put, 205/55-15 is the wrong size. as you already know, the sidewall will be too tall. but also, speedometer will be thrown off, and you'll start recording the miles inaccurately too. you can also expect a squishier feel over 205/50-15. my advice, find a tire that you like that comes in either 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.
