for a 5TH GEN accord:
NO NEED to take it to a dealer to get the radio code!

(1) pull out the ASH TRAY (no need to remove any screws, just pull it and it comes right out).

(2) there is a sticker on the back with your 5 digit code written on it. (at least there is for my accord - it's a 1997 special edition). once you reconnect your battery, your radio will say "code". punch these 5 digits in using the radio preset buttons. that's all there is to it. you may want to look for this code on the back of the ashtray before you disconnect your battery to make sure you have it. i hear another place it can be hidden is in or behind the glove compartment.
