The dealer in ? must be a tight as prick..no afence to you BTW.
Honda can track the last tiny small as bolt on the tranny.
They know the day-hour-minute your endcaps got torqued to spec if need be. They know the exact day your tires were made and mounted stock.
They know when and if shift changed happened while building your car.
They (Honda) sure as hell knows the stock OE Radio code via the VIN# every single thing about the build of your car dates back to the VIN#.

Dealers making you pull the radio must be pricks that just want to give you a hard time. My dealer made me a spare key based on my VIN# they didn't even ask to see my stock key, if they can cut a key from the VIN# do you think they can reset the radio?

I'm not meaning to rant BTW...I saying this all happy like.
