Look underneath the car on the floorpans. Make sure the car hasn't been wrecked by side impact. Some people can fix body damage so well you can't tell it's ever happened, but the floorpans tell all. Those good body people almost never replace the floorpans (since they're covered by carpet), and you can tell by their condition. Look for bends, creases, or dents. Since the floorpans have the seat brackets bolted to them, after a car is wrecked, the seats often times won't be aligned right.
