I did my GTi with a heat gun and a half-dozen putty knives... in the middle of August 1999...outdoors. What posessed me to do that job during a 98°F weekend with no wind....I'll never know.
In a word....:doh: DOH!
I still have burn marks & scars from that job, even though the car is long, long, long gone...
In fact, it's now probably an Amana refrigerator. :chuckles:
