With the Works package the engine tops off at 200hp. MiniMania has a package that will do 250hp easy (so they say).

with forced induction you should be able to make power with any engine...it forces it to...FI is an easy fix for a poorly tuned and designed engine...sometimes it is no other way...for instance the 2.0 mazda protege engines...without f/i they are just thrashy 4 bangers...(speed wc mazdas have to rebuild the engines every other race as they destroy themselves just trying to make the same power a lightly tuned rsx type s engine does ~245hp)...i'm talking from personal research and experience
anyway...165hp out of a 1.6 liter engine that is tuned for racing is pretty simple (remove cat and all emissions components, p&p, custom exhaust, intake, tuning, etc.)...you can do it with honda 1.6 liter engines to the wheels and yet still pass emissions
