For the guy with the f23 tranny problem, it all depends on if you've kept up with your factory recomended services, how many claims you've had on the car for warr. in the past, etc.. I would be nice but persistant. I would explain to them you have had many Honda/acura vehicles (even if it's your first) and you will not buy another because of the many tranny problems you've heard about. Believe me, Honda is worried about the problems they are having in the tranny dept. An example would be the new TSX. They haven't come out with why but I have one right now that hasn't even been sold and they want to replace it even though it works because they say it may have a problem (bad batch). It's got 10 miles on it and I'm pulling the trans. and replacing it with a new one. If you have recipts from any places you've done maintance on your car that will help big time. It would really help to have like a recipt for a tranny fluid replacement. This will weigh out in your favor. Good luck, in the end I honestly think the most you will get is you will have to pay the labor and honda will cover the costs of the part. Let us know what happens.
