It sounds like an "EGR", which would have been unrelated. The transmissions that had a problem were on the j30 engines only (v6), the f23 engine/tranny combo's had no update/service bulletin on them. It was never a recall, If you had a problem Honda simply "extended" your factory warrenty on the transmission only. You can complaint forever but Honda's has extended it for over 100k and that is all they will budge. Are you having a problem or just calling to get something for free? Even if you have a V6 and you tell them it's having problems it will still need to be inspected at a dealer and then it is the dealer's decision if it is bad. It's not like you can just get one cause you want piece of mind.
