One thing you guys are forgetting is that if you're just putting along, and going easy on it, you may not even be making boost when you shift. But if you are flooring it and making 2psi, it will still make the bov release. Absolutely right that it depends on the bov, as to how loud it will be. If you're making 10-15 psi, it will obviously be louder, or have a longer release... But again, having a car that can make that kind of boost doesn't mean you are making that boost when you shift...
whats stupid is talking when you dont know what you are talking about, just cause u know people that run at 10psi doesnt mean that they should. Do me a favor.... call honda one of there tech or service lines, ask what honda says a stock engine top psi should be............. 7PSI. i dont mean to be ignorant but i mean... no respect for people that dont give it. if you run 7 psi on a honda engine, it will be fine. you dont have to worrie about blowing the engine due to boost. no additonal engine wear.... nothing. that is a safe smart way to boost without the proper mesures taken to boost. i correct myself it is 7 not 8.... so do some reading in the phone book and call a honda dealer.
