Absolutely not. It's VTEC, by the way.
my friend's 90 teg engine looks almost identical to the 87's..I know that doesnt say much for internals, etc.. ..
It may look similar, but it is a completely different engine. The valvetrains are similar, but the block is 100% D-series.
