to reset it the easy way just unhook ur negative battery terminal for like 5 minutes. and then put it back on. after a max of about 30 miles if it doesnt come on, ur cool. how many miles does it have on it. the cel comes on when the car hits a certain amount of miles (i think 60k) so u will take it to the honda place.
the CEL is NOT programmed to come on after a certain amount of miles. It's only purpose is to come on if there is a malfunction in the vehicles emission control system. It's OBDII, not an odometer. Otherwise ALL makes of cars would be doing the same.
