I was in your position 2.5 years ago. I have a 94 Civic CX hatch and once I saved $2k, I went and got the LS swap. It wasn't a bad choice overall, but I do wish I would've had the patience to get the GS-R. If you plan on going the turbo route stick with the LS.

This is just me...but make SURE this is exactly what you want before you make your purchase.

Another 6 months of saving is a world of difference.
