I have a 91 Accord Ex 2dr with around 180,000 miles and i was considering changing to a Synthetic Blend (Most likely Castrol Syntec) then eventually a full synthetic(Most likely Castrol or Mobil 1). I have heard stories about bad oil leaks and consumption from switching to synthetic on a high milage car, but then i have talked to people who have done it and had no complaints. Anybody have any input, opinions, or experiences with this type of thing.

Also Just a quick question about what oil everybody uses. I have used Castrol GTX 5W30 since i bought the car and changed it every 3000 miles or about every 2 week with how much i drive.
