There's a little twisty-deal at the top that you adjust with a small screwdriver. It may be different in the rear for a 6th gen sedan, I have a hatchback, so the top of the shock is exposed inside the car.

I don't remember how long he had them, but I'm pretty sure he didn't do anything severe (like smack a curb) to blow them. In the end, I don't think he liked them much.

They don't suck TOO bad, there's just a bit too much bounce sometimes.

I've had them for ~10 months. I change them occaisonally, but usually "3" in the front (4 is stiffest) and "4" in the rear.
