Well, as far as handling... I don't have sway bars, and just a strut tower bar in the front. I can take most curves, on/off ramps, etc. at approximately twice the posted speed without the tires making any noise and without too much body roll, which is basically what I wanted out of aftermarket suspension. On a (relatively) smooth road, the ride is just fine. Even potholes are no big deal. I mean, the car will make a much bigger "thunk" than say, a Buick, but it's not like it hurts or anything. The only time that I really don't like the setup is on an undulating road surface, when the car seems like it's hopping all over the place, however, having the back set stiffer than the front seems to alleviate this for the most part. One other thing I thought of, is that KYB will not warranty their shocks with more than a 2" drop. My car is dropped about 2", but I did something to make the shock sit higher, allowing the car to sit lower (at Bakeoff's suggestion). BUT, I don't remember what the hell it was! Nothing complicated though.
Driving my car is like driving a roller skate...you feel everything, but I like it that way.

This is my opinion only: If you're not REALLY concerned with snappy handling, get some shocks that are known for durability, so they won't blow out if you drop the car more than a couple inches (or give a ride to a fat dude who ate cement for lunch). Those in combination with some nice swaybars (if you don't have them already-factory or otherwise) would probably do you just fine. If I were to do mine again, I'd probably shell out a few extra bucks on springs, but I've been happy with the AGX's.

So if you had to choose, what would you do?

Gr-2's plus Tein's. To be honest, your not going to breal any speed records so why bother with a serious set-up. I have never blown a set of shocks on any of my cars and everyone has been pushed to the limit. I have blues and they are fine but next time I will save the money and get the GR-2's. A friend of mine has GR-2's and Eibach pro-kit on his CRX and it rides great. The pro-kit he bought was used for $100.00. However, the cheap drop springs are what ruins a comfortable ride. Just get decent springs.

Sure man. Have you gone to the track lately. I never made it that weekend because my grandma passed away so I had to take off to New York for a week. We went last Whoop ass wednesday night and there was only one Honda faster than me, A blown CRX (ran a 12.9). Get this, the fastest time I managed in my cousins EVO was a 14.1 flat with a 0.646 reaction and perfect shifts all the way to the end. I ran it three times and could'nt run faster than a 14.1. Maybe with a .500 reaction it could hit a high 13's but I don't see how anyone could get a 13.2 or so out of a stock EVO. The car has 10,000 miles on it and maybe my cousin has hurt the clutch (he really cannot drive, his fastest time was a 14.4 and that was lucky) but it felt fine to me. What was really bad was that there was an STI ther running low 13's, high 12's all night. But boy does that EVO launch. There were also several gay ass Hybrid coupes and hatches running mid to low 16's. There was a small club of hybrids there and I think the fastest one ran a low 15 :ghey: None of them could drive, there was a 5th gen DX with a GSR motor that ran a consistant 16.2 all night long with like a best reaction time of 1.2xx

I ran Tokico Blues for a while, never had any problems w/blowing them. They held up well and held their gas charge till the day I switched suspensions. I rant the Blues or Hp's w/custom rate Ground-Control coilovers. The ride was great. I now run Tein SS. Go for the Blues, good price, good product and yest there is a warranty.
