Have you tried the high temp gasket from Napa with high temp silicon? Also, make sure you got some good locking nuts or lock washers on it when you assemble. Lastly, after you assemble, run the car and get it heated up, then retorque the bolts after it cools. It sounds like in the course of heating and cooling, the bolts are streching causing your gaskets to fail.
thanx for the ideas. napa said the high temp gasket maker stuff wouldnt hold up on a header. but im gunna grab a tube and cut a new gasket this weekend and see what happens.

if that fails....meineke is right next to my house, and ill just have it welded.
