The Escort ZR1 laser shifter is a system that can see the laser from the gun, and instantly send back another laser signal back to the gun, giving blank reading to the officer. There are 2 receiver/transponders for the front, and one for the rear. They must be installed and integrated into the front and rear bumpers. A really good custom car installation place should be the only people to attempt this.

Now, everthing I've read about the ZR1 is that it really does work. The thing is, price justification. You would need to have at least 2 tickets saved (with laser, that is) to justify the 500.00 out the door installation.

One more thing..... I have an 8500 Escort Passport, and while I like it alot, if I had it to do all over again, I would have gotten a V1. The are the best, hands down.
