Of course you want to transfer the most energy to the "bad guy," but you also don't want to shoot through the wall and hit the neighbor's little baby Billy. Do that, and you're in a world of shit. I live in a townhouse, so hitting the neighbors is just as big of a concern as shooting down the "bad guy."
It doesn't say much that I use 7.62x39 softpoint though, that's why I'm getting the 590. Twelve holes are better then one.
