Bar Keepers Friend may be found in cleaning supplies. Like Cleanser only safe for marble, glass, etc......very good and works great. Use it on shower doors too

Once you're done, you can use a very thin coat of rain x....very thin application. Buff it off and final coat all that with some Zaino gloss spray or other gloss spray. Try not to use wax. That's probably what you're seeing this from.

You could also Clay your windshield. That's what I do every month or two if needed.
