you'll be able to tell when you need an alignment by looking at your tires. if you get uneven wear on either the outside or inside shoulder, that's a tell tale sign that it's time to take it in for an alignment. another sign is when your tires are cupping or feathering. in that case, you're probably gonna have a problem wit your shocks or struts also.
