well, I'm down close to an inch an a half, maybe a little bit more....
the 195/65's rubbed excessivly. duhh..... Those were YK420's, not bad tires, but again, they were too big. I had those because the rims/tires came straight of a teg with no drop. He just tried to reduce wheel gap by larger tires....
the 195/55's had zero problems. Those were kuhmo 712's (my second set. I had another set on some 16's, and they were great tires. No complaints).
the current rubber I'm on, 185/65 rubs every now and then, mostly on entering driveways and such, but its nothing big. I rather be rubbing tires than dragging my lip on the pavement
Good old michellens :ugh: they suck, but they're tires....
I'd suggest 195/55, but that just me. Most people will say 205/50, and thats fine. They're nearly the same size, really.... Just a little wider....
my next set of tires will probably be pirelli
